Compensation Disclosure
Milestone Benefits Agency, Inc. (MBA) may be paid for its services in any of several different ways. Most commonly, MBA is paid directly by the insurance company which includes commissions which are agreed upon between MBA and the client and are included in the premiums. In other instances MBA is paid a direct compensation from a client. MBA may also be paid fees and/or commissions under separate agreements with insurers, reinsurers and/or insurance intermediaries. These separate agreements compensate MBA for its role in placing insurance coverage with the insurer, reinsurer and/or insurance intermediary by paying MBA fees or commissions based on the amount of the premium paid. MBA also has entered into some additional compensation arrangements in the form of commission overrides or otherwise based on factors that are not client specific such as aggregate loss experience and size or performance of an overall book of business placed with the company. Unless a specific agreement with a client directly provides otherwise, MBA customarily receives compensation as summarized above from insurers, reinsurers and/or insurance intermediaries for its professional services. MBA may be party to such agreements with one or more of the insurers, reinsurers or insurance intermediaries with or through which MBA places your insurance. At your request, MBA will be pleased to supply further details of any such fee, commission, override or other compensation that relates to your account.
